Vote before or during the general meeting
When the company opens voting, you go to the general meeting page from the email and, in the Votes tab, click "Vote" on each item, choose Yes, No or Abstain and click "Vote". With "Vote all yes / no / abstain" you vote on all the items at once.
On this page
Before you start
- The notice email, with the "Access the meeting" button.
- Voting must be open. The secretary opens it when the time comes; your page then says "You can vote. If you do not vote, it will not be counted".
How to do it#
Your vote
Approval of the annual accounts
- 3YesVote in favor
- NoVote against
- AbstainAbstain from voting
- Open the link in the email. Click "Access the meeting". You land on the general meeting page.
- In the Votes tab, click "Vote" on the item. There you see each item with its description.
- Choose Yes, No or Abstain.
- Click "Vote". If you change your mind, "Cancel" closes the dialog without voting. Repeat for each item.
If you are going to vote the same way on everything, use "Vote all yes", "Vote all no" or "Vote all abstain", above the items.
Items marked "No vote", such as "Any other business", are for information only and are not voted on.
Before or during the general meeting#
The company decides when, at the time it creates the general meeting, in "When can people vote?". Usually the secretary opens voting during the meeting and closes it at the end. If the company has set it up that way, voting can be open from the moment the notice is sent, and then you can vote in advance. You can see how it is set up in the Votes tab, inside "Basic information".
If you attend in person, you can also vote in the room: the secretary records your vote in Sttok for you.
What happens next#
- Your vote counts towards the provisional result the company sees.
- If you do not vote on an item, your vote is not counted on it.
- When the general meeting ends, voting closes.
Frequently asked questions#
I have appointed a proxy. Can I vote myself?
No. The page says "Vote delegated to…", with the name of your representative, and "You have delegated your vote, you cannot vote".
I represent another shareholder. How do I vote for them?
When you click "Vote", the dialog shows the shareholders you represent, with and without instructions, and your vote counts for them. Any "Voting instructions" they have left you are in the Representation / Proxies tab. If there are several shareholders under your email, "Select shareholder" appears at the top so you can choose on whose behalf you are acting.
I cannot see the "Vote" button.
Most likely voting is not open yet, or it has already closed. If you have appointed a proxy, you cannot vote either: the page says "You have delegated your vote, you cannot vote".
